Wladimiro Antonio Woyno Rodriguez is a live performance designer and technologist working across image, space, light, systems, and performance.

His practice spans contemporary set, lighting, and projection design and technology; show control systems; video content production; programming; real-time rendering workflows; documentation systems; and rapid prototyping tools. With years of field experience in theatre, opera, dance, concerts, time-based installations, and large-scale events, his work explores performance design that engages the sensory imagination.

Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, he holds an MFA in Design from Yale School of Drama and a BFA in Design and Production from the University of British Columbia. A devoted collaborator with the creative teams of several companies, he is often prototyping tools, images, and visual environments. He is currently an Associate Professor in Live Performance Design and Production at Simon Fraser University’s School for the Contemporary Arts.
