Echo Engine

Creator · Designer and Technologist

Echo Engine is a live cinema performance about a shipwreck survivor on an island of paper ruins and recorded image fragments. Miniature sets, live cameras and hand-performed effects create images that loop, drift and degrade, gradually drawing the performer into the archive.

Workshop prototypes in February 2026 tested scale, live animation, a camera monorail and a modular media-server workflow. The audience sees both the fabricated world and the machinery producing it.
