Pier

Created by Wladimiro A. Woyno R. · Projection and Scenography

Based on Chris Marker’s La Jetée, Pier is a multi-media performance that explores ideas of live image creation, their association through editing, sampling, animation, and looping.

“This is the story of a man marked by an image from his childhood.” Set in post-nuclear war Paris, an unnamed man becomes a test subject for experiments in time travel. The experimenters seek to send emissaries into time to call past and future to the rescue of the present.
