I am Alan Turing

Visual Design and Technology

I am Alan Turing is an experimental opera composed by Matthew Suttor with an interdisciplinary company of artists and developers. The project brings Turing’s ideas, life and relationship to technology into dialogue with a libretto developed through human and machine collaboration.

The visual work draws on Turing’s investigations of natural patterns and morphogenesis. Workshop performances at Yale’s Center for Collaborative Arts and Media combine live performance, music, projection and computational systems.
